The Knaub ~ Kohr Families

This family grew out of the Janelle's Taylor ~ Hengst families. When Janelle's great grandfather, James Kenneth Taylor, married Emma Jane Hengst, who was born to John A. Hengst and Fianna Knaub.

-- Emma Jane Hengst was born to the Colonial Pennsylvania Melchior Johann Hengst family, who are another of Janelle's German familes.

-- The Knaub family, along with the Harbaugh ~ Mehl families, where very early pioneers of early 18^th century York County, Pennsylvania.

Casper Knaub (1725-1781)

-- Janelle's 6^th great grandparents were Casper Knab and Anna Maria Barbara.
