Johann Peter Herbach (1674-1753)

Johann Peter Harbaugh (Herbach)was born about 1674 in the Netherlands, and died about 1753 in Gerschweiler, Pfalz, Germany.

Johann Peter married Anna Marie Singer, and they had the following children.

Johann Yost Harbaugh’s married Maria Margretha Klein, who was born about 1707 to Jacob and Mary Magdalena Klein in Germany.

Maria died about 1745 in Kreutz Creek, Hellam Township, York County, Pennsylvania.

John Harbaugh (1735-1803)

John Harbaugh was born May 6^th 1735 in Kirschweiler, Kaiserslautern, Germany. He was christened on May 8^th 1735 in Otterberg, Pfalz, Bayern, Germany.

John married Maria Christina Elisabeth Mehlin who was born February 1^st 1736.

Maria died August 6^th 1794, and John died February 15^th 1803 in York County Pennsylvania.

The will of John Herbach is dated November 26^th 1802, and probated (proven) on February 6^th 1803. The executors were George Herbach (oldest son) and Michael Hengst of York County.

John and Maria Harbaugh’s children were born in Kreutz Creek, Hellam Township, York County, Pennsylvania.

i. Anna Margaretta Harbaugh b: May 03^rd 1759. She married Peter Zeigler.

Juliana Harbaugh was born March 30^th 1771 to John Harbaugh and Maria Christina Elisabeth Mehlin Springfield Township, York County, Pennsylvania.

She was baptized April 26^th 1772 in the Trinity Reformed Church (United Church of Christ) York, York County Pennsylvania.
