Photo dates are estimates (c-circa) based on a number of factors; knowing a person and estimating their age in the photos, clothing styles, photographic techniques, etc.

Lester Earl Ross married Lillian Winifred States. Their children were:


i. Donald Lester Ross was born April 10th 1928. He married Emily Janee Bigger. Donald and Emilie had four children. Judith, Douglas, Michael and James.

ii. Ronald Ross of Marina, California.

iii.  Mrs. Ralph Snyder of Solon, Ohio.

DeJoice Family Photos

Nicholas DeJoice married Lucia (Lucy) Stanza in 1890 in Italy. The family had sevn children.


i. Giovanna Di Gioia (1895-1920). She went by the name Jennie and Jeanine De Joice.

ii. Jessie DeJoice (1899-1968). She married Domenic Valeria.

iii. Mary (Marie) De Joice (1901-1992). She married Patsy Maietta, and Leonard Bigger.

iv. Christine E. DeJoice (1904-2003). She married Giovanni Mattoli.

v. Joseph Albert DeJoice (1906-1956). He married Philomena M. Leoni.

vi. James DeJoice (1909-1968). He married June A. Hills, and Louise M. Rosamila-Carson

vii. Clara DeJoice (1911-2006). She married Francesco J. Forbini.


DJ (00) Giuseppe Nicola Di Gioia was born May 1865 in Troia in the Foggia province Pugila Region, Italy. Puglia, also known as Apulia, is a southern region bordering the Mediterranean Sea coastline.

DJ (01) This is a photo of Lucy DeJoice. Her Itialn maiden name was Lucia Stanza, and she married Giuseppe Nicola Di Gioia about 1889 in Troia, Italy.

DJ (02) This is a photo of Lucy DeJoice, circa late 40’s early 50s.

DJ (06) This is a photo wedding photo of Jessie De Joice and Domenic Valeria. Jesse was almost 14 years old when she married November 29th1913.

DJ (13) This is a photo of James Edward DeJoice Jr. when he graduated in 1962 from the Bucktail Area High School in Renovo. He was the son of James DeJoice and June Hills. And this is a photo of James Jr. taken later in life.

DJ (15) This is a photo of Thomas Maietta while he was in the Army, circa 1944. He is the son of Marie DeJoice and Patsy Maietta

Stackhouse Family

The daughter of Abraham Stackhouse and his wife Mary, married Abraham Bigger. Abraham and his wife Mary were the garndparents of Leonard Bigger.

Mauk Family

MK (09) This is a photo of Joseph Mauk. His daughter Sarah Belle Mauk married Andrew Jackson States on May 23rd 1876. One of their daughters, Lillian Winifred States, married Lester Earl Ross.
