My grandfather, Calvin, was born to William and Sadie Graham. This is where you can see their family photos, and Sadie's Greenawalt family photos are located here.

There are other photos related to my grandfather's, Graham, name. Remember, my great grandfather, William, was born not born into a Graham family.

Also, before my great grandfather married my great granddmother, Sadie Greenawalt, he married Dellia Catherine Killinger.

-- Dellia was pregannt when she and William married. Her son, Norman, was given the Graham name because he was suppose to be the son of my great grandfather.

-- However, through DNA analysis, Norman is not my great grandfather's son.

--  Nor is Norman from any other Graham blood line.

Calvin and Ruth Graham Family

Calvin Stoey Graham was born November 29th 1905 to William Graham and Sadie Greenawalt.

My grandfather was the only child, out of four children, to survive childhood, and go onto have a family.

Calvin married Ruth Etta Barr on June 29th 1927 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

Calvin and Ruth lived at 203 Brisban Street in the Paxtang Borough area of Harrisburg until about 1931 when they moved to Franklintown, York County, Pennsylvania.

Calvin and Ruth children:

i. Robert Harvey Graham (1928-2004). He married Dorothy Irene Klinger.

ii. Sarah Louise Graham (1930-2021). She married Harry (June) Rosenberger.

iii. Jean Marie Graham (1930-2006). She married Roy Eugene Hipp.

iv. Patricia Ann Graham was born February 4th1935. She married Al Napoli.

v. Keith Ellis Graham was born July 29th 1949. He married Carol Elaine Davis.

CSG (01D)  This is a photo of Calvin and Ruth Graham's first house located at 203 Brisban Street Paxtang Borough Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. They would eventually lose the home in the 1929 great depression, and eventually move to Franklintown York County Pennsylvania.

This was a handwritten note, copied from another photo, written by Bob Graham's daughter Joan Graham-Brent.

CSG (10)  This is Bob Graham holding a baby, circa 1941. At first we though Bob was holding his baby brother, Keith Ellis Graham, who was born in 1949, but Bob is to young.

CSG (11)  Ruth Graham began to work at the Naval Base in Mechanicsburg when it first opened in 1940, as a result of World War II.

-- Ruth is the front row, 4th person from the left.

--  It would be from this connection, that my father, after returning from the Navy in 1947, he would meet my mother who also worked for the Navy.


CSG (11A)  This is also a photo of a Christmas banquet held at the Navy base, circa 1944. My grandmother Ruth and her husband Calvin can barely be seen.

--  You can barely see Calvin sitting between two women at the far right end of the table, second from the end.

--  Ruth is sitting across from Calvin. The top of her head is barely visible.

CSG (16F)  Left is Sally and then Jean. This is a photo from my dad’s collection. The photo was wrapped in tape, which I suspect to protect it. I know he loved his family, and this photo probably was with him while he was in the Navy.

CSG (18B)  Written on the back Justine Lawver, June Coulson. Also CSG (18C) is another photo taken in Franklintown when Calvin and Ruth Graham ran a Mexican food shop called the "Fieta". The location is presently at the south end of Franklintown, across from the Fire House, and it looks like a cinder block garage.

-- My mother, Dottie Klinger, is in the poka dot dress and saddle shoes.

CSG (18F)  This is a photo of Jean Bock of Franklintown and Leon Srayer of Mountain Rd Dillsburg, friends of Bob, Sally, and Jean Graham. Jean and Leon married and had two children. Leon graduated with Sally and Jean. Jean and Leon graduated with Sally and Jean.

Sarah Louise Graham-Rosenberger Family

Sarah Louise Graham was born in 1930. She married Harry (June) Rosenberger.

Sally and June had one daughter.

i. Sherie Ann Rosenberger was born in 1957. She married John Ellsworth Minich.


John and Sherry had two children.


a. Angela Nicole Minich was born October 17th 1977. b. John (Brady) Minich was born May 17th 1981 in Carlisle. He graduated from Susquehanna University as a business major, when he was killed in Long Island New York while visiting his girlfriend’s parents in 2004.

Jean Marie Graham-Hipp Family

Jean Marie Graham was born a twin in 1930. She married Roy Eugene Hipp.

Jean and Roy had two boys.

i. Calvin Eugene Hipp was in 1952. He 1st married Catherine May Adams.

Calvin and Catherine had one daughter.


a. Jessica Ann Hipp was born May 1st 1975. She married Mr. Cable.


Calvin then married Susan Jane Konhaus, and they had one daughter.


a. Margaret Jean Hipp was born March 23rd 1979. She had a child and named her Bailey Hipp.


ii. David Lawrence Hipp was born in 1954. He married Jeannie L. Liwanag.

Dave and Jeannie had three children.


a. Shannon Marie Hipp was born December 26th 1981.

b. Jennifer Jean Hipp was born February 13th 1986.

c. Joshua Jazz (JJ) Hipp was adopted by David and Jeannie.

Keith Ellis Graham Family

Keith Ellis Graham was born July 29th 1949. He was known in the family as Butch or Butchie.

Keith married Carol Elaine Davis.

The family lived in the area of Fort Wayne Indiana, where Keith is an educator; teaching people to be physician assistants.

Keith and Carole have two daughters.

i. Karen Graham was born August 11th 1976. Karen graduated in 2000 from the University of Iowa College of Medicine.

She holds Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Karen is an educator at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Wisconsin, where she teaches Evidence-Based Medicine and Problem-Based Learning.

ii. Kimberly Graham was born September 10th 1979. Kimberly is married and lives with her husband and children.
