Here’s the research paper on George Blume (1810 - 1891).

The Blume family is related to our great-grandmother, Irene Belle Mankamyer.

Irene was born to Josiah Christian Mankamyer and Ida Belle Bittner. Ida’s parents were Nathaniel Bittner and Lydia Lepley.

Ida Mankamyer died in 1898, and in 1902 Irene went to live with her mother's Aunt, Alice Lepley-Blume, and her husband William Blume. Alice was the sister of Ida's mother, Lydia Lepley-Bittner.

We do have a series of Lepley~Bittner photos that can be viewed and downloaded.
